This elegant and unusual pendant and earrings set is made from our specially produced glass beads, made from old Haig whiskey bottles  The skittle-shaped droplet bead is hand-wrapped in sterling silver wire and then threaded onto a sterling silver snake chain (choice of 16, 18, 20, 22 or 24" chain length).  The earrings are hung on sterling silver leaf-shaped ear wires.
The glass beads vary slighly in size and shape because each is made by hand, but each pendant is between 32-36mm long and each pair of earrings hangs between 28-32mm from the ear.
This brilliant recycled process is one that is a collaboration with another small business who is equally as passionate about recycling and reusing materials that are already in existence, whilst producing fun and attractive items!
We collect as many glass bottles as we can here at Seapig and then pass them to Claire from Drift-Away Handmade, who works her magic and turn them into these gorgeous beads for us to use in this new line of jewelllery.
